Justice Lee Speaks at 15th Judicial District Bar Meeting
Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Sharon G. Lee spoke to the 15thJudicial District Bar Association on appellate practice as well as updated the group on the Tennessee judiciary, including the Access to Justice programs, indigent representation task force report and campaign to increase payment rates, appellate case e-filing, and the new Administrative Office of the Courts Claims and Payment (ACAP) system for filing indigent claims.
The 15th Judicial District is comprised of practicing attorneys and judges in Wilson, Smith, Trousdale, Macon, and Jackson counties. The February 21st meeting was held at the Wilson County Expo Center in Lebanon. Sonya Smith Wright of Smith-Wright Law currently serves as the Secretary for the 15th Judicial District Bar Association.
