Sinkhole Legislation Draws Opposition; Wright Stands up for Homeowners
Sonya Smith Wright stood up for the homeowners of the state by fighting against legislation that limits a homeowners rights against their insurance companies. Sinkholes are nothing new in Tennessee and now there’s a bill making its way through the state Legislature involving how insurance companies handle sinkhole claims. Wright’s concerns included whether coverage would be properly provided to homeowners and whether insurance companies would drop homeowners if a sinkhole claim was made.
