Smith-Wright, PLLC Attorney Assists in Founding MTLAW

Smith-Wright Law, PLLC celebrates the formal organization of Middle Tennessee Lawyers’ Association for Women (MTLAW).  Sonya Smith Wright joined with early efforts to establish MTLAW and invited other Founding Members Diana Benson Burns, Lara Daniel, and Susan McGannon, to join in starting a Middle Tennessee chapter of the organization. MTLAW was organized at a meeting of thirty local attorneys on March 16, 2017.  MTLAW’s goals are to focus on issues of concern to women in the legal profession, including the efficient administration of justice and diversity of the bench and bar.  Membership in MTLAW is open to law students, law school graduates and practicing attorneys – male or female – who support the goals of the Association.
