Potterfield Runs for Special Kids
Alison Potterfield ran with her team to support Special Kids Therapy and Nursing Center. The race, which took place in Murfreesboro on March 11, 2023, allowed participants to choose from 5k, 10k, or 15k tracks or the 1 mile fun run. The course started at Murfreesboro Medical Clinic (MMC) and took racers to the Stones River Battlefield and back. Although it was a chilly morning, spirits were high.
Special Kids has been an integral part of the Murfreesboro community since its founding in 1998. Special Kids provides a variety of therapy and nursing services to children with special needs in Middle Tennessee. The race is one of their annual fundraisers.
