U.S. Supreme Court – Wright Admitted to Practice

Sonya Smith Wright was recently sworn in as member of the United States Supreme Court Bar.  Circuit Court Judge M. Keith Siskin sponsored Wright’s admission as well as 8 other attorneys from the Rutherford Cannon County Bar Association. Judge Siskin, Wright, and the other attorneys appeared Wednesday, March 25, 2015 before the United States Supreme Court at which time Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. granted Judge Siskin’s motion for the attorneys to be admitted as members of the United States Supreme Court Bar. Being admitted to the Supreme Court Bar carries with it the right to argue cases before the Supreme Court. For full news coverage regarding the event, click here.
